My name is Irma Cruz, I am a graduate student at the Silberman School of Social Work. The motivation that I hold for furthering my education stems from witnessing the many sacrifices that my parents and I have endured. I was born in Mexico but when I was only four years old my mom, brother and I migrated to the United States.  As a DACA recipient, I am invested in advocating for undocumentes students by providing information and resources to our community.
